Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) hiked electricity tariffs by an average 1.44%. This revised tariff will be applied from 1st April.
General consumers'll get discount of 5 paisa/unit for payments on time and 1% off for making online payment. Tariff for retail consumers increased by 10 paisa per unit. Tariff is unchanged for first 50 units for domestic consumers, agricultural activities. Electricity tariff unchanged under Biju Kutir Jyoti Yojana.
