No devotee will be allowed to climb the chariots

SJTA chief administrator Suresh Mohapatra told that, No devotee will be allowed to climb the chariots during Ratha Jatra at Puri. Only the Sevayats performing rituals will be allowed to climb the chariot.

Severe indiscipline happened during the last stage of Rathayatra( i,e- on the day of Niladri bije). Servitors manhandled Odisha media persons during Niladri Bije. The problem arose after some girls, said to be the daughters servitors of Lord Jagannth, on Sunday climbed atop Nandighosh and Taladhwaja Raths. Due to this incident, the serviters misbehaved the Puri collector and the media persons. At last the Police has arrested six servitors who are culprits.
