Appointment of block education officers (BEO)s in all Blocks

The state government has decided to appoint block education officers (BEOs) in all 314 Blocks of the state. This was informed by School and Mass Education Minister in Assembly. The district inspectors (DIs) in some places are over-burdened with additional responsibilities, thus drastically hampering their routine inspections.
